Taylor Stockton is Chief Innovation Officer of the U.S. Department of Labor, where he leads the department's exploration of how artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies are reshaping the labor market and the day-to-day experience of the American worker, and identifies the innovations most likely to support economic mobility.

His career runs through education, workforce development, and technology. Before joining the department he was Chief Operating Officer of a workforce development technology company that partnered with state agencies and local workforce boards to deploy AI-powered job matching, and he co-founded Pathway Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund backing startups focused on economic mobility. Earlier he served as Chief of Staff at an education startup in South Africa working on K-12 technology innovation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
